Uist News, Monday 22nd December A calm, dry start to the day here on North Uist today. Unfortunately, the forecast for the rest of the morning is looking a bit damp and cold, but the next few days are looking good. Wildlife spotted over the last couple of days were Pink-footed Geese, a Little Egret and a Long-tailed Tit which was spotted at Carnan on South Uist.

Miniature narcissus is just another name for a dwarf daffodil variety. Like regular-sized daffodils, they grow from fall planted bulbs and bloom in spring.
