All payments are processed and taken in GBP (British Pounds) and where applicable all UK national taxes are included in totals.
Payment of Import duty and other taxes due in non-EU territories are the responsibility of the purchaser. Hebridean Smokehouse cannot be held responsible for delays or the consequences of delays at Customs. Please consult your local Customs office for more information.
Prices shown are to UK addresses and include P&P at the Royal Mail 1st Class standard. Additional charges for overseas addresses are levied at the time of selection and detailed prior to order completion.
Payment is taken for all orders at the time of ordering not at the time of despatch.
Our standard deliveries within the UK are made using Royal Mail 1st Class. No signature is required on delivery but parcels are generally too large to go through a letterbox so arrangements for receipt are the responsibility of the recipient. Hebridean Smokehouse cannot accept responsibility for any delivery failure or the consequences of such where Royal Mail has been unable to deliver a parcel.
Parcels sent using Royal Mail Special Delivery require a signature upon delivery, and Hebridean Smokehouse takes no responsibility for the consequences of delivery failure due to unavailability of a signee at time of a delivery attempt made by Royal Mail. Where a delivery attempt has been made, and failed, Royal Mail will leave a collection card informing where the parcel can be uplifted from or where a repeat delivery attempt can be asked for.
Deliveries cannot be made on Sundays, December 25th, 26th, January 1st, 2nd (Scotland only), and certain national holidays (please check Delivery Information and Advice on website for more details).
Hebridean Smokehouse reserves the right to use other carriers, as and when circumstances dictate, and customers will be informed and consulted in advance of these arrangements.
When an order is placed the customer will receive an automated e-mail confirming that we have received you order.
A second e-mail will be sent confirming acceptance of the order within our terms and conditions as detailed. If any part of a customer’s order is seen to be out-with the scope of these T&C we will contact the customer to resolve the issue.
Cancellations and refunds
Orders can be cancelled up to 48 hours before despatch with requests for cancellation after that time made only by telephoning the smokehouse (01876 580209).
If you are unhappy with any Hebridean Smokehouse products and services please contact us straight away by email (firstname.lastname@example.org), or call the smokehouse (01876 580209). We would ask you not to return any goods without contacting the smokehouse first.
Where a claim is valid refunds will be made via credit card refund or company cheque.
It is the responsibility of the customer to carefully check their order on receipt. Perishable items will be inside a thermal insulation bag or thermal insulation packaging, and the goods should be removed from this packaging and stored in a refrigerator as soon as possible. In the unlikely event of goods being damaged or incomplete you should accept delivery and contact the smokehouse.

We take great care to ensure all information on our website and in printed literature is correct. In the situation where an error has occurred we will give you the opportunity to cancel your order or where an order has been sent make good any discrepancy.
Our Terms and Conditions are governed by the Law of Scotland and in placing an order with us you indicate your acceptance of these terms and conditions under the jurisdiction of the Courts of Scotland.
Our Terms and Conditions do not affect a customers statutory rights under UK law.
