Uist News, Monday 12th January The frost has now gone, and it is back to the wind and rain here on Uist. The wind is forecast to decrease later today though and should hopefully remain fairy good until tomorrow evening, when westerly winds are expected to increase up to 30 mph. Due to the adverse weather and associated sea conditions, the M.V hebrides is operating an hour later than normal today.

The size of a dwarf daffodil depends on the variety, but generally they grow 4 to 6 inches (10-15 cm.) tall with flowers that are just one and a half inches (4 cm.).
