Uist News, Tuesday 15th July A cloudy but dry start to the day here on Uist this morning after a beautiful weekend. It is forecast to clear later this morning with bright sunshine expected for the rest of the day. Sollas Week activities today are Kids Art at 11am, Rhona's Trek from Lochportain to Berneray at 10am and a talk by Donald John Macdonald this evening at 7.30pm. The North Uist Games are also being held on Friday at Balelone Farm. There will be piping, highland dancing and athletics competitions held throughout the day. The weather is looking nice for games day. If you are here on holiday, why not pop along for a really enjoyable day out with family and friends.
